We use cement in a fixed percentage of each mixture and by doing this we allow the engineer to get the technical data he needs to calculate loads and strengths of the Rammed Earth walls, in a proper way and without much deviation compared to a mixture that does not use cement. when the engineer have all the data he needs, he can calculate see that in many cases Rammed Earth walls engineering plans can be approved without additional skeleton of concrete , Wood or iron, which saves a lot of money on the project.
